1946  Founding of Willi Stürtz Maschinenbau GmbH  
1979   Development and production of machines for the production of PVC-u windows  
1981  First electronic corner cleaner - Entry into automation  
1992  Development of the first CIM structured, modular production line for manufacturing PVC-u windows  
1996  Certification on the basis of DIN EN ISO 9001  
1998  Development of a cutting & machining centre with intelligent, process orientated transportation system and database structure running on Windows  
1999  Development of the production control software PRO OPT. Total production control becomes reality  
2001  Modular cutting and machining concept for all factory sizes, from a subsequent machining centre to a saw centre  
2003   Doubling of shop floor to 13,000 m² 
2004  With its turn key systems for Stürtz provides a universal automation concept for any company size 
2005  Development of a Single Head Corner Cleaner TC-MC-1H specially designed to clean frames with welded transom profiles and frames with profile combinations with 6 axes "Motion Control" 
2006  Presentation of the first Stürtz Double Mitre Saw on the Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg; Introduction of linear motor drive technology for our cutting and machining systems; Introduction of Jet Control and Motion Control technology in the corner cleaning sector 
2007 Further development of cutting and machining centres and the addition of the POWER CUT and FLEX CUT saws; 3,500m² of additional production area; spatial capacities created in order to set up and test complete turn key lines
2008
 The NFZ-JC-LM-160 extends the family of subsequent machining stations; fensterbau frontale show presentation of the new dynamic swivel machining module with linear motor drive for efficient bar machining, as well as the FBS-1M automatic sash hinge screw driver with a cycle time of under one minute
2009
 Development of the STBAZ-PVC-300-X, a cutting and machining centre for PVC machining only using a highly efficient swivel machining model
