As 2009 rapidly comes to a close, Stürtz has started off the last quarter of the year with a busy schedule! The fourth quarter started with the last day of the GlassBuild America Exhibition in Atlanta.
The show in Atlanta proved to be better than anticipated. Although traffic was not as heavy as some years, the attendees at the show were generally very positive about the state of our industry. Expectations for 2010 are improving. This has been borne out in the activity Stürtz has seen since the show.
Since the first of October, Stürtz has seen a strong increase in activity in both quoting and order placements. The LinearPro saws which were highlighted at GBA have been well received and we will be shipping the next two saws in this family before the end of the year.
