The SMI Linear Pro 3D-Fab Automated Fabrication Center is designed specifically for North American PVC Door Products. Stürtz Machinery Inc. has utilized our vast years of accumulative knowledge and experience in fabrication processes to develop a truly unique and innovative custom door fabrication machine.
The SMI Linear Pro 3D-Fab takes your pre-cut door components and automatically fabricates all the required hardware application including hinges, handles, lock pockets, striker plates, shoot bolt etc, in a true “one-piece-flow” system. The machine is extremely flexible and fully programmable to work with multiple product families and a wide variety of profile sizes. The true CNC machining center work area can carry multiple fabrication tools mounted from above, beside, or below the work piece depending on the application required. Along with our exclusive high speed, precision Linear Motion Pusher System you can fabricate to accuracy levels that will not only meet your maximum accuracy requirements…it will exceed them! Due to the design of the machine to work with a pre-cut piece the Linear Pro 3D-Fab has the unique ability to attach and fabricate the aluminum extrusion reinforcement required in door products to avoid the nuisances, and quality issues associated with “off-line” manual fabrication.
